Victorian pair of Staffordshire flatback spill vases in scottish style dress A man and women in typical highland costume. The man is wearing a kilt with a sporran carrying a basket of flowers with his scarf /stole over his arm. He is standing next to a tall thistle which would hold the spills /long matches for lighting the fire. The women is in typical scottish dress standing holding a basket of fruit with her pinny also filled with her days picking. She is standing next to a thistle which would hold the spills/long matches. This pair would stand on the fireplace with there flat backs to the wall dating from around 1880 they are in wonderful condition for there age. They stand9 inch tall and5 inch wide
