Description
Victorian ivory covered church service book George E Eyre and William Spotswoode dated 1871. Both front and back covers are ivory with gold coloured edging. The ends of the book are all covered in gold leaf showing the quality of this fantastic little book. The covers and pages are all attached and not loose there is a decorative moulding on the front of the book which could be someone initials. The only downside with the book is the clasp that hold front and back covert is missing. Inside the front cover some one has signed what looks like MARION DUKE Xmas 1871 making this beautiful little book 154 years old. 5 inch long by 3 1/2 inch wide and 1 1/2 inch deep . This book is in fantastic condition for its age
