In 1882, Doulton purchased a small factory at Nile Street, Burslem, Staffordshire, the region known as The Potteries. And the rest is History. Production of figurines and serial wares began in 1901. In 1912/13, Charles Noke, launched a new group of Royal Doulton Figures, with a HN number on all wares. (HN for Harry Nixon, the artist in charge of painting the figures).

Hand made and hand decorated, this beautiful masterpiece was designed by the renowned Eric Griffiths, well known to lovers of Royal Doulton Figurine Collectors worldwide. Eric Griffiths joined Doulton in 1972, as Director of Sculpture. As you would expect, decoration to the figure is of the highest order with superb use of colours and a high gloss finish.

Really beautiful in her fabulous wedding dress, of ivory dushess satin and featuring heavy beading, designed by Lindka Cierach.
