Description
Rare Edwardian garniture of 3 vases. Set consists of two matching open topped vases with a larger central vase standing on base with matching lid. Very hard to find a set like this once common to every home they are now quite rare. The central vase is on a stand that has a large bunch of roses to the front panel with 3 smaller bunches of roses to the other 3 sides with dark brown borders with gold leaves on them. The vase has a large bunch of roses to the front with two smaller panels above with a single rose in each which is set in a brown border and a smaller bunch of roses to the reverse. It has a handle on each side. The two side vases never had a lid and have matching decoration to the large vase. The stand is 6 inch tall x 9 inch square. The vase with lid is 19 inch tall when on the stand it is 25 inch tall x 11 inch wide. The side vases stand 18 inch tall x 9 inch wide.The base has two hairline cracks that do not show when on display. The central vase has made in England no 10 impressed on the bottom the two side vases have made in England no 89 impressed on the bottom. This set would look stunning on large sideboard or mantle piece
