These beautiful and characterful black Sheep by Hanns-Peter Krafft are as popular today as they were back when they where designed…..if not more. Made almost entirely by hand, the sheep are built like a piece of furniture and will be strong enough to be used as a stool. The sheep was made for the German Company Meier. It can be dated in the 1960s. The sheep is in good authentic condition. The black version is even more rare then the white one. 34 inch tall 33 inch long 11 inch wide Handmade sheep in curly black fur and beech wood. Designed by German artist and designer Hans-Peter Krafft, produced in Germany by Meier Germany. Originally used as a stool, the sheep is also a beautiful sculptural object.
