A Rare vintage Triang Tri-etta pedal (lambretta/ vespa) bike restored to a high standard all chrome work (except wheels )done. Resprayed i a loverly red with white  realistic.looking side panels and saddle. All metal construction except tyres pedals and handle bar grips All original parts except the reproduction stickers ideal for the scooter enthusiast to hang in his garage man cave. This model is rarely on the open market especially in this condition. Wheel size 8 inch tyre size is 12 inch scooter is 41 inch long well  made from thick steel so is very heavy   After WW2, English, French, German and Italian companies started making motor-scooters. Lambretta and Vespa offered the most stylish and reliable models so, by the mid-fifties, they had become the dominant manufacturers. Scooter clubs were started throughout Great Britain, and scooters were soon as popular as motorcycles among young people. This was reflected in  the wheeled toy market, where more children’s pedal motor-scooters  offered for sale than pedal motor-cycles. Tri-ang was by now the leading retailer of children’s toys, and they brought out their first pedal motor-scooter in 1954. The Tri-ang Tri-etta is a large well-built machine with metal bodywork and solid rubber tyres. Three years later, it was joined by a smaller model with stabilisers, the Tri-etta Junior.
