Early Victorian mahogany tea caddy with working lock and key. Thick cut veneer with a ivory escusuction and 2 ivory knobs on the 2 lids in side the caddy. The 2 compartments still show signs of the old silver lining. This comes from the time when tea was very expensive 7 3/4 inch long 4 1/4 inch deep 5 inch tall. A small piece of beading missing on rear corner see photo but caddy still displays very well
