A pair of Mahogany late Victorian early Edwardian circa 1890 /1900 arm chairs with monogram C G carved in back. This stunning pair of armchairs have been recovered in mustard draylon sometime in there history which is very usable as is .At the same time the casters were changed to ball bearing type. These chairs must have come from a very well to do family as the monogram C G is carved into the top cartouche on the back of each chair. The chai’s are standing on baluster turned front legs with ball bearing casters the back legs are square tapered. This pair of chairs are very impressive and would make any room look stunning. The seats are still firm with no sagging underneath. Standing 44 inches to top of back 18 inch to seat 25 inch across arms 22 inch deep. I CANNOT DESCRIBE THE QUALITY AND WEIGHT OF THESE TWO WELL MADE CHAIRS
